You are here:                   Homepage Travels Travelling with a containership

In 2007 I travelled with a containership from Le Havre/France across the atlantic to the carribean island St. Maarten. From there the ship travelled to Trinidad and Tobago and then to French Guayana. Three days later I got out of the ship in Belem/Brazil.

In Belem I got in a public bus and crossed whole Brazil and Argentina to see the southest point of the american mainland/Ushuaia. But the importestant thing to see were the penguins at the argentinian coast. Later I travelled back from Buenos Aires to Hamburg/Germany again with a container ship. This made a short stop in Dakar/Senegal.

This travel was very exciting and interesting. But there are too many text and too many pictures to translate in english. So please click on the german part to read from my travel with containership. There you can click on part 1 to 4 and then on pictures (Bilder) and movies (Videos).

Thank you and have fun!
